Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 October 2026

This policy explains how Utopic Lovers collects and uses your personal data when you visit utopiclovers.com, contact us, or book our photography and film services.

1. Who we are

Utopic Lovers is a trade name of Studio Muze S.L. (NIF B75756031), Carrer de Lepant 264, 3B, 08013 Barcelona, Spain. Studio Muze S.L. is the data controller. Contact: hello@utopiclovers.com

2. What data we collect

— Enquiry details you send us through our contact form, by email, WhatsApp or through our Instagram and Facebook enquiry forms: your names, email address, phone number, wedding date and location, number of guests, type of ceremony, services of interest, approximate budget, wedding planner, how you heard about us and any message you write.

— If you book with us: the information needed for the contract, invoicing and payment, and the details of your wedding day.

— The photographs and films we create, which may show you and your guests.

— Browsing data collected through cookies, with your consent (see section 6).

3. Why we use your data, and on what legal basis

— To answer your enquiry and send you a proposal (steps taken at your request before entering into a contract).

— To perform our contract: planning, photographing and filming your wedding, and delivering your galleries and films.

— To meet our accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation).

— To measure how our website and advertising perform, and to show our ads to people who have visited our website (your consent, through the cookie banner).

— To share images in which you appear in our portfolio, on our website, on social media, in wedding publications or competitions, or with the other vendors of your wedding — only within the choices you make in our Image Publication Authorisation, which you can change at any time. We never sell images for advertising, and we do not publish close-up or identifiable images of children without the consent of a parent or guardian.

4. Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We only share it with service providers that help us run our business, for these purposes: Pixieset (website and client galleries), Google (Analytics, Search Console), Meta Platforms (Instagram and Facebook enquiry forms, Meta Pixel), our email and messaging providers, our payment providers and our accountant. With your agreement, we may also coordinate with your wedding planner and other vendors of your wedding. Images are shared with vendors, media or competitions only within the choices you make in our Image Publication Authorisation.

5. International transfers

Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. In that case, transfers are protected by the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Cookies

Our website uses cookies that are needed for it to work, and — only if you accept them in the cookie banner — analytics cookies (Google Analytics) and advertising cookies (Meta Pixel). You can accept or decline them when you first visit, and change your choice at any time by clearing your browser’s cookies.

7. How long we keep your data

— Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: up to 2 years after our last exchange.

— Client data: for the duration of our collaboration, then as long as required by law for accounting and tax purposes (generally 6 years in Spain).

— After our collaboration ends, the data we must keep for legal reasons (contract, invoices, key correspondence) is restricted and used only to meet our legal obligations or to deal with a possible claim.

— Your photographs and films: your private online gallery and video links remain available for 6 months after delivery, and we keep a copy of the final files for 6 months after delivery. Unedited source files (RAW files, raw footage, project files) may be deleted once the revision periods have ended. We do not provide a permanent archive, so please download and back up your files.

— Images published in our portfolio, on our website or on social media: for as long as your Image Publication Authorisation remains in place. If you withdraw it, we remove them from our own website and social media within 30 days.

8. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Just write to hello@utopiclovers.com. If you think your rights have not been respected, you can also contact the Spanish data protection authority (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es) or the authority of your country.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
